In a 1-inch Scale, one inch equals one foot (12 inches). This will look like: 1/12 scale.

One inch equals six inches. This will look like: 1/6 scale. These are typically dollhouses for children. Also known as the "Barbie Scale."
Types of Wood for Dollhouses
Typically, dollhouses use plywood or MDF (medium density fiberboard) because these types of constructed wood offer a smooth surface and an easy medium to create intricate architectural details. |
Stucco
When you receive your dollhouse, the walls will be smooth. By combining paint and a stucco mixture, you can create a textured finish for your miniature dollhouse.

Front-Opening
