After searching the market for a doll house, I decided on this one as being natural (no paint), easy to use for a two year old, can be carried from room to room or location,contained all the furniture and a plus- bendable people! I do wish that the porch had been permanent as it does fall off too easily and becomes akward for her to use. We have decided to keep the balcony porch off until she is older.

I realize the porch extension is an option to either keep connected to the house or not, but not sure if I like that aspect of the dollhouse. Other wise it is certainly well worth the cost and easy to assemble

My daughter is 3 and this is certainly appropriate for her age and up. She loves it and gets a lot of use out of it. However, the closed design makes it a little difficult to use for floor play (on a table it works well). The thing I find most annoying is the 'atrium/balcony' does not attach permanently, so is always coming off. Also, one of the sliding doors has come off a couple of times. Overall I appreciate the simple design, which helps make it more gender neutral and perfect for imaginative play.
