Overall a good buy, but some warnings

As another reviewer mentioned, the diagram is HUGE on the outside of the box. Thank goodness, my kids weren't with me when I came home to the box with the big picture on it. The other big disappointment is that the instructions are only diagrams with the only note to not tighten screws until it's fully assembled. Only you can't screw one floor completely in without blocking a screw hole for another floor. So we had to remove half the floor to attach the next floor and there is no indication of which way walls face so we are looking at the picture on the ad to decide how to install the pieces. It's Christmas Eve and we've given up on assembling it tonight. Too complicated and frustrating. I was so hoping they could come down in the morning to it set up under the tree. :(
I think my girls (7&9) will love it once it's together. It is a little less sturdy than I imagined, but I think it will work fine. The furniture is cute. We got a good price for it so it'll be worth it in the end, but wish there had been some written directions.

    Assembly is not bad. If doing it by yourself, will take you around 2-3 hours. Initial couple of steps are the hardest (that's the only time you'll need an extra pair of hands). Afterwards it's a breeze. Philips screwdriver is all you need. Remember not to tighten the screws until a given level/floor is complete. Very sturdy and great quality (same applies for furniture). Great product with a free 2-day shipping. Nice.

    The only drawback is the size. It was a little hard to find a good place for it. My 3 1/2 yr old daughter absolutely loves it. It is big enough for two or three little girls to play with at the same time. It did take two peoplle to put it togther.

      My daughter and I really love this dollhouse! Its spacious enough to let her stuffed animals take residence and all the furniture and stuff of that nature are so fun! I can't believe how big it is! We especially love the fact that we don't have to play on just one side of a house! This is a great value and we are thoroughly loving it! Great bonding time!
