After checking out other options and being continuously disappointed I finally decided upon this dollhouse. To say the least, I was not disappointed! It's lovely, sturdy, and does not contain a lot of small pieces that just end up all over the floor. My daughter received this for her 7th birthday and she is delighted. The assembly was really simple and the size is perfect! This purchase was an all around good move!! I would recommend this product (and have) to anyone who wants a dollhouse for the little girl in their lives.

I thought this would be a bigger hit with the kids (5 1/2 and 4)than it has been. They seemed to like it Christmas morning and were excited (the size is impressive) but I havent really seen them play much with it since even when I suggest it. Buyers should be aware the product is not all wood...most of the pieces are MDF, nonetheless it is fairly sturdy. It is colorful and fun to look at. It wasnt difficult to put together took me 1-2 hours. A big plus that the furniture came with it. Barbies do fit it but the scale is weird the Barbie is as tall as the distance from floor to ceiling just about. I purchased a little family to go with the house but they are too small for it...I doubt the kids notice so no big deal. I feel like I got a good value, would feel even better about spending the money if the kids played with it more though.

        This dollhouse is absolutely gorgeous and it is big enough for both of my girls to play with at the same time! The fact that it is wooden is great it is not going to fall apart anytime soon and all of the furniture that comes with is wooden as well so they withold a lot of play time!
