I bought this for my 5 yr old granddaughter for Christmas this past year. She was so surprised and absolutely loved it. It took my husband about 5 hours to assemble, but it was sturdy and well built. My husband did reinforce some areas with super glue so it would stay extra tight and not come loose. He oiled the elevator so it would go up and down easy. On the back of the dollhouse he made wood strips and screwed them in going diagonalyl so it would reinforce the back of the dollhouse to make it stronger. Our granddaughter loves it and plays with it all the time and her friends love to come play with her and the dollhouse. This dollhouse is one I would recoommend to anyone! It's a large dollhouse and a wonderful imanginary home for children to play in with there Barbie Dolls. I give this house a 5 Star!

Did a lot of research on looking for the perfect doll house for my daughters birthday present. Came across this one and thought.. this is it! When we put it together the elevator was broken completely, and there was numerous (about 10) pieces that my husband had to glue back together making the assembly process about 2 hours longer because we needed the glue to dry.... My advice would be to buy it REALLY early if it is a gift so if something happenes like this you have more then enough time to fix it... Also when I contacted Kid Kraft they were not very friendly.. They told me I had to totally disasemble the doll house to fix the broken parts... So a total time to build it take a part and rebuild it is probably going to be pushing 7-8 hours... They were not sympathetic acting or for that matter even acted like they cared, no apology for the incoinvience.... Very frusterating... With all the bad experience we've had I do have to say my daughter just ADORES this doll house..

Just take your time getting this together, have to really study the instructions, but it all comes together. It is huge so make sure you have room! Had to sub the screws for the elevator assembly as they did not fit at all. Careful with overtighting other walls to avoid cracking in wood. I would be scared to hang on wall due to weight. Overall, totally great for the $

I purchased this doll house for my 4yr old daughter for Christmas. Assembly was easy (about an hour) but instructions are very good and all pieces are labeled. My daughter was speechless when she saw it. She has played with this dollhouse non-stop. An amazing product. Well worth the money!

I bought this dollhouse for my granddaughter for Christmas, and it was so big that my daughter couldn't hide it, so had to give it to her before Christmas. Both my granddaughter and step-granddaughter loved it! They were so excited when they saw it. It has tons of space, lots of rooms, and plentu of furniture. Both can play at the same time. Assembly was not hard, but time-consuming. The quality is good too - the house and furniture are made of wood, with veryy little plastic. I would recommend this dollhouse for any little girl who loves Barbie dolls.

Drill the pre drilled holes a tiny bit bigger, I had a couple of panels start to split when screwing the screws in.I pressed glue into the splits to try and hold it. it could be made of higher quality materials for the price. Also one of the floor panels had a good size scratch in it when I received it,I'm goin to try and fix that with a little latex paint or something.
